These are performed by our practice nurses, however if you prefer they can be done by a Doctor. Please enquire at the reception desk about making appointments with the nurse
Women aged 29 - 49 years are advised to have cervical smear every 3 years and women aged 50 - 64 every 5 years unless otherwise advised by the Doctor.
Smears are preformed by the our nurses in either of our treatment areas unless you specifically request for a Doctor to carry out the test. The results are available after 2 weeks.
