Cervical Smears
These are performed by our practice nurses, however if you prefer they can be done by a Doctor. Please enquire at the reception desk about making appointments with the nurse
Women aged 25 - 49 are advised to have a smear every 3 years*
Women aged 50 - 64 are advised to have a smear every 5 years*
Please ensure that you telephone for the result, allowing two weeks after the test has been completed.
