The Practice also employs a highly skilled nursing team is comprising of Sue Dunkley, Juliet Marsden, Jane Michael and Lindsey Turner who are supported by Lynda Gibson and Julie Szymala (Health Care Assistants).
At both surgeries practice nurses are available for a variety of duties. Gold Street Medical Centre treatment area is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6.00pm (5.00pm for non-urgent problems) and at Earls Barton surgery a nurse is available between 8.30am and midday Monday to Friday.
Our Treatment Area Nurses possess a wide range of skills and are able renew dressings, remove sutures, syringe ears, take blood and urine samples, carry out vaccinations, immunisations and smear tests.
Spirometry testing, treatment of minor injuries, contraception couselling, hypertension and asthma checks are also available.
