Prescription Requests

Patients on long-term medication may request repeat prescriptions. We accept such requests by post, in person or online; please endeavour to use the computer printed repeat request slip at alI times.

We do not accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone, as this can lead to mistakes.

A prescription 'post box' is available in the reception area to avoid, the need to queue and hand in repeat requests.

Whichever method of requesting repeat prescriptions you use, your request will take 2 working days (48 hours) to be processed, so please do not expect to collect your medication before this time.

We review patients who are taking repeat medication on a regular basis and you may receive a reminder about this when you collect your prescription.

Online Repeat Prescribing
Our online repeat medication requesting service enables you to your repeat medication 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and is especially useful when the surgery is closed or you cannot get to the surgery.  If you have not already registered to use our online services please ask the duty receptionist for details either the next time you visit the surgery or by telephone.  Each family member must have their own log-in ID and password.

Once you have registered the link is: https://SystmOnline.tpp-uk.com
