Relocation to Isebrook

Building work has started on the £5.75m new primary care centre which will provide much more spacious and modern accommodation and facilities for the Practice (incl. Dr Datta & Partners), staff and patients.

The new development will be conveniently located at Isebrook Hospital, Irthlingborough Road which is already a centre for healthcare for residents of Wellingborough and the surrounding area.

Traditional and additional NHS primary care services, as well as expanded education and training facilities for GPs, will be provided from the new primary care centre.  The building, which is scheduled to be completed in October 2011, will also have full disabled access.

Dr Geoff King, GP partner at Abbey Medical Practice, said: "We are delighted to be moving to the Isebrook Hospital site despite all the hard work that has gone into making our temporary premises at Hemmingwell Lodge available.  We can’t wait to move into our permanent new home."
