Test Results

If your Doctor has arranged a pathology test for you, you do not need to enquire about the results as we will notify you if the result is anything other than normal. However, if you have had a cervical smear test performed, please ensure that you telephone for the result allowing 2 weeks after the test has been completed.

Please note that unless we have written permission we are not allowed, by law, to give out results or information about any patient over 16 years of age to any other person. This includes any family member.

If there is a hearing, language or understanding problem, please discuss these with the doctor before any test is carried out.
