Contacting The Practice Via Telephone

We would like to apologise to our patients who have contacted the surgery at 08.00 this week. There has been an unusual large increase in call volumes which has resulted in our Patient Services Team not being able to answer the phone immediately.  Patients have had to wait up to 25 minutes to be connected to a member of the team which falls below our standards.

The calls received at 08.00 relate to not only appointment requests but non urgent enquiries.

May I remind our patients that calls between 08.00 – 9.30 and 13.30 – 15.00 are for appointments only.  Non urgent requests can be dealt with between 09.30 – 13.30 and 15.00 – 18.30.
