We have had a large number of patients who have booked and not attended their appointment for their COVID vaccination.
We recognise that people’s circumstances change and there may be a legitimate reason (medical or non-medical) that mean they no longer need the appointment. However, if you are unable to attend your appointment, please ensure you contact us so we may offer the vaccination to another patient.
It is heartbreaking when we had such a large number of patients who did not attend the clinics this week. We rescheduled clinics for routine reviews to accommodate these vaccination clinics and it is wasteful of clinical time.
I must advise you that it is the policy of the Practice to consider the removal of patients from the Practice register who continue to fail to attend their booked appointments.
