National Campaign for Cervical Screening

NHS England today launch a national campaign to raise awareness for women to go for their smear tests.  Testing is at a 20 year low with the lowest uptake among women in their late 20s, with almost four in ten failing to have smear tests.

There is no need to feel embarrassed or worried as we have a fantastic team of Practice Nurses who undertake the test.

Please review a message from our Senior Partner, Dr Kate Hughes.

Call the Practice today to make your appointment if you are due your smear.  Please do not delay make this call.  Two women die every day in England from cervical cancer, yet it is one of the most preventable cancers if caught early.
