Patient Communication regarding Earls Barton

Dear Patient,

It is with regret that we continue to keep our Earls Barton surgery closed due to the ongoing situation.

We are currently using this site as a “clean site” to provide very important immunisations to babies and children along with adhoc flu clinics.

Our Patient Services Team and Clinicians are available via telephone, video consultation, and where there is a need, and safe to do so, they will see patients.

When you contact Wellingborough, please be patient whilst you are waiting for a staff member to assist you. I am sure you will appreciate we are extremely busy at the moment and our staff are trying their hardest to quickly answer all of the calls. Where possible, we encourage our patients to contact us via our website for non-urgent enquiries using the link below:

Prescriptions continue to be collected on a daily basis and processed within 2 working days. It would be very helpful if more of our patients ordered their medication online and nominating Earls Barton Pharmacy as their preferred Pharmacy. This would result in no longer having to place the repeat paper prescription in the post box and your medication request would be electronically transferred to the Pharmacy. If you are interested in doing this, please contact us via the above link.

We are constantly reviewing and evaluating how we are delivering services to our patients at the moment. We are guided by the latest government guidelines along with local guidance from Nene CCG and the local infection rate.

I am sure you appreciate these are difficult times and we thank you for your understanding. I am extremely proud of the staff at the Practice and how they have worked so hard to continue to deliver the best possible care to our patients.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Dr Kate Hughes, Senior Partner
