Requests For Medication Via The Telephone

We have received a large amount of phone calls to our Prescribing Team requesting medication and confirmation that prescriptions are ready.

May we remind patients that will not take requests for medication via the phone.  Please use the online service or your paper slip attached to your prescription ensuring you allow 2 working days for processing.

If you wish to check to see if a prescription is ready, please contact your preferred Pharmacy in the first instance as it is likely that they will have this and medication is ready for issue/collection.

Please help us with the volume of calls received which will enable our team to speak to patients with complex medication enquiries.
