We had an unexpected delivery of COVID vaccinations and wanted to ensure that we not only administered the flu, but also availed of the opportunity to vaccinate patients who were eligible for the COVID winter booster.
This caused a queue and unexpected waiting times.
The Patient Services Team, Volunteers and Clinicians did an outstanding job in changing the clinics last minute resulting in us vaccinating 900 patients. Another example of the great teamwork at Abbey.
