Travel Advice

If you are planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.

In the UK, the NHS routine immunisation schedule protects you against a number of diseases, but does not cover all of the infectious diseases found overseas.

At the Practice we are able to offer the following vaccinations:

  • Typhoid
  • Cholera
  • Hepititas A
  • Polio

All of the above are free of charge and should be booked 4 weeks in advance of your travels abroad. If you require further vaccinations, you will need to visit a Private Travel Clinic who will be able to provide you advice and guidance on how to protect yourself whilst abroad.
