Disabled Facilities and Access
Disability Access
If you have any special needs, please let our staff know at the time of booking your appointment or when attending the Practice.
Our premises at Mannock Medical Centre has a lift to the first floor for our patients who are unable to use the stairs. In addition to this we have wheelchairs that are available to use, at the patients own risk, should you require one whilst visiting the premises.
A loop induction is also available at our reception desks to assist the hearing impaired. We also have a member of our Patient Services Team who can undertake basic sign language, and we also have access to a service of fully trained BSL interpreters.
If you are blind or partially sighted we have signs that that can assist you and we can provide leaflets to you in large print. Please ask a member of our Patient Services Team for details. We are happy for you to bring your Guide Dog to the Practice, however, we may ask you to sit in another waiting room should another patient have a fear of dogs or an allergy.
